Mark Dantonio recaps Michigan State Spartans’ win over Michigan Wolverines

Mark Dantonio has been part of some special wins in East Lansing, but even he is putting Saturday’s win over Michigan near the top of his favorite victories.

“It’s up there. It’s way up there,” said Dantonio after the 14-10 win in Ann Arbor. “We battled some adversity last year. We had some things going on. Obviously we needed to bounce back. We made a commitment to do that as a football team and as a program way back in the spring.

“I knew that our football team and our program would basically come back up to the top. That’s what we’re trying to do. We’re just trying to do it step by step. I’m extremely proud of our guys with the way they kept playing.”
