The Michigan State Spartans are back in action tonight when Long Beach State comes to the Breslin Center.

Michigan State, ranked No. 2 in both the AP and Coaches Top 25 Poll, enters the game with an 11-1 overall record following a 107-62 win over Houston Baptist on Monday, the team’s 10th-straight win. The 107 points were the fourth-highest under head coach Tom Izzo.

Sophomore forward Miles Bridges leads Michigan State in scoring, and ranks fifth in the Big Ten Conference, with 16.7 points per game. He is also averaging 6.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.4 blocked shots while shooting 46.5 percent from the floor.

Long Beach State enters Thursday night’s game with a 5-8 record following a loss at home to Eastern Michigan on Saturday. The 49ers have lost five of their last seven games, the lone wins coming at home against Stanford and at Pepperdine.

Game time is set for 7 pm EST.
