Per Austin’s article...
Blackwell's suspension comes as a criminal investigation into three Michigan State football players is ongoing. Michigan State announced last week that a member of the football staff also had been suspended pending the completion of that investigation.
A representative with the Ingham County Prosecutors' office on Tuesday morning said MSU Police had yet to turn over a report from its investigation.
The university also is launching a separate Title IX investigation and an independent law firm investigation into its football program.
Blackwell could not be immediately reached for comment on Tuesday afternoon. He was performing his duties as late as Feb. 1, when he was present for the press conference announcing Michigan State's new recruiting class.
More to come.
