The Michigan State Spartans picked up another crucial win in Big Ten Conference play last night over the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
MSU ended a three-game losing streak to Nebraska and stayed above .500 in conference play.
In case you missed it, here are the highlights:
The Spartans were 11 of 17 from three-point range, good for 65 percent. You’re not going to lose many games shooting like that. Miles Bridges led the way with 16 points and six rebounds, while Alvin Ellis III and Nick Ward both hit double digits.
Tom Izzo was pleased with the performance but knows there’s plenty of room for improvement.
“That could’ve been a 20-point win, but I still didn’t think we did the things at times that we need to do if we’re going to become a real good team,” he said. “Can this team become a great team? We’ve got a long way to go for that.”
The Spartans’ next game is Tuesday night, 9 p.m. ET at Michigan.
