Michigan State failed to show up for much of Tuesday’s beatdown at the hands of Michigan.
The Spartans looked like an AAU team while turning the ball over 21 times, which the wolverines converted into 30 points in what turned into a 86-57 whipping, the largest margin of defeat Izzo has ever suffered against his in-state rival.
"The turnovers are a joke," Izzo said after the loss, which dropped Michigan State to 14-10. "That all should fall on me. So, don't even bother ripping them. Just look at me. It's been an ongoing thing all year. It has not changed.
"It was one of those days. We haven't had many of those where it's a complete meltdown. Today was one."
