Foster Loyer is pretty much having the best junior year possible.
The Clarkston High School student and future Michigan State point guard added more accolades to his memorable year on the court, earning First Team MaxPreps All-American honors.
Loyer — who incinerated the nets with 29 points in Clarkston’s Class A state title win last month — also earned Bank Hoops Player of the Year and made the Detroit Free Press Dream Team. Also making the Dream Team was 2017 commit Xavier Tillman.
On the year, Loyer averaged more than 25 points and six assists per game and also was allergic to missing free throws.

The future Spartan is joined on the MaxPreps First Team by Zion Williamson (Spartanburg, S.C.), Marvin Bagley III (Chatsworth, Calif.), Jordan Brown (Roseville, Calif.) and Darius Garland (Brentwood, Tenn.).
MSU target Brandon Johns of East Lansing also earned recognition, receiving Honorable Mention status.
