For all of the talk about who isn’t a part of the MSU 2017 recruiting class, it’s easy to overlook who is. The two committed members of the class, Jaren Jackson and Xavier Tillman, continued their rise up the recruiting rankings today as Rivals released their final Top 150 for the class of 2017.

After previously being the #10 prospect in America, Jackson used an impressive stretch of postseason performances — including leading his high school, La Lumiere, to a National Championship — to launch himself all the way up to #6.
Tillman also jumped up four spots from #86 to #82 after leading Grand Rapids Christian to the State Championship game, where he lost to Foster Loyer’s Clarkston High.
Of course, other MSU targets also saw their stock rise. Brandon McCoy landed at #11, Brian Bowen at #20 and, finally, Mark Smith leapt all the way up to #52.
Regardless of which, or any, other of these players join the class, MSU looks to have a loaded group.
