The Spartan roster just got a little more crowded. Braden Burke, a 6’11” 220-pound forward, is transferring from Robert Morris to Michigan State.

The big man averaged 4.3 points and 2.7 rebounds per game for the Colonials last year playing in 32 games, starting seven.
Burke is a Michigan native and was a prolific player in his time at Lakeshore High in Stevensville, averaging 19.4 points and 12.2 rebounds and leading the Lancers to the Class B state championship game in 2015-16.
The speculation about who will take the final scholarship on the 2017-18 squad will still persist, however. Burke will pay his own way and walk-on to this fall and go on scholarship the following year.

Welcome aboard, Braden!
