The NBA Draft Lottery is set to take place Tuesday night (8pm EST, ESPN) and while no Spartans are projected to be taken with those picks come draft night (THANK YOU MILES), at least two — Magic Johnson and Gary Harris — will be on site when the lotto balls fly.

After being named President of Basketball Operations back in February, Magic is hardly a shocking choice to represent for the Lakers, but Harris is a bit of a surprise.

After being selected just outside of the lottery (19th) only three years ago, Gary has established himself as one of the premier young shooting guards in the NBA thanks in part to a terrific ‘16-17 campaign — 14.9 ppg, 2.9 apg, 3.1 rpg, 1.2 spg, 50.3% FG, 42.0% 3PT. The fact he was chosen to represent the team over other cornerstone cogs like Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray speaks to how highly the organization views him.

Gary’s team is probably going to end up picking near the back of the lottery, but Magic has the chance to land a huge piece. The Lakers have the third-best chance to land the top pick. The rest of the odds are below...

Boston Celtics (via Brooklyn Nets) 25.0% chance to Pick No. 1

Phoenix Suns 19.9%

Los Angeles Lakers 15.6%

Philadelphia 76ers 11.9%

Orlando Magic 8.8%

Minnesota Timberwolves 5.3%

New York Knicks 5.3%

Sacramento Kings 2.8%

Dallas Mavericks 1.7%

Sacramento Kings (via New Orleans Pelicans) 1.1%

Charlotte Hornets 0.8%

Detroit Pistons 0.7%

Denver Nuggets 0.6%

Miami Heat 0.5%
