Davion Williams picks Michigan State Football

The Michigan State Spartans bolstered their 2018 class this weekend.

it came when Davion Williams pledged to the Spartans.

A 6-2, 185-pound defensive back, Williams is rated the No. 21 player in the state of Michigan. He’s a three-star cornerback from Belleville who made his decision after spending the day at Michigan State football's elite camp.

Williams chose the Spartans over a host of scholarship offers from major programs, including UCLA, Temple, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Iowa among others. Other Power 5 programs to offer him include Illinois, Purdue, Syracuse and Iowa State.

Williams is also on a star on the hardwood, so perhaps he’ll suit up for Tom Izzo someday. He earned Class A honorable mention All-State honors in basketball last season.
