Michigan State will get a decision from four-star forward Brandon Johns on Thursday.
Johns is planning to announce his college decision on Thursday at 1 p.m. EST with the Spartans among his finalists.
The East Lansing native holds offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Alabama, Iowa, Texas and Pittsburgh among others. He’s ranked 50th overall in the 2018 class by 247 Sports.
The 6-9, 206-pound forward took unofficial visits to Pittsburgh on June 24th. He also took unofficial visits to Michigan last September and Michigan State in October. The Spartans already has commitments from Gabe Brown, Foster Loyer and Thomas Kithier in the Class of 2018.
Most signs point toward Johns picking Michigan, including a run of 247 Sports Crystal Ball entries in the last couple of days, but don’t ever count out Tom Izzo and his staff.
