The Michigan State Spartans are out of the running for Trevion Williams.

The junior power forward from Detroit Henry Ford Academy, who was offered by Michigan State in 2016, is no longer considering Spartans, according to Evan Flood of 247 Sports.

A four-star big man in the Class of 2018, Williams is currently ranked as the 97th overall player in addition to the seventh-best center by 247. He holds offers from Michigan State, UNLV, Illinois, Xavier, Purdue and DePaul.

The writing on the wall for Williams that Michigan State may not be his best fit when the Spartans scored pledges from forwards Marcus Bingham Jr., Gabe Brown and Thomas Kithier in 2018.
