The Michigan State Spartans will FINALLY return to action Saturday when Bowling Green comes to East Lansing.
Ahead of the game, Michigan State updated the depth chart. As expected, it’s loaded with freshmen expected to make a major impact this year. There are 14 true freshmen on the depth chart, including six in the two-deep.
Among the two deep are right guard Kevin Jarvis, right tackle Jordan Reid and backup F receiver Hunter Rison. Expect to see those guys early and often this season.
As for quarterback, there’s no real surprise there with Brian Lewerke on top, followed by Damion Terry, Messiah deWeaver and true freshman Rocky Lombardi. Terry has done enough to keep the backup spot, but don’t be surprised if deWeaver ultimately passes him by.
