The Michigan State Spartans are back in action tonight as the Wisconsin Badgers come to town.
The Spartans are getting back in their groove thanks to two-straight wins over the last week. That comes after Michigan State hit a bit of slump, losing two of three and barely beating Rutgers in overtime.
But the Spartans have since recorded a 28-point win over Indiana, which was followed by a 13-point win at Illinois.
Michigan State leads the all-time series with Wisconsin, 77-64, including a 48-14 advantage in games played in East Lansing. The home team has won 19 of the last 21 games played on a college campus, with the lone exceptions being the Spartans’ wins in Madison in 2012 and 2013.
Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo is 26-20 in his career against Wisconsin, who enters Friday night’s game with a 10-11 overall record and a 3-5 mark in the Big Ten Conference following an 85-67 loss at Iowa on Tuesday night.
This game will be shown live on FS1, with Tim Brando calling the play-by-play and Jim Jackson serving as the color analyst.
