The Michigan State Spartans are on the road today as they face the Maryland Terrapins.
The Spartans are coming off a solid win over Wisconsin this past Friday. Sophomore star Miles Bridges scored a game-high 24 points to lead four players in double figures as No. 6 Michigan State pulled away for 76-61 win at the Breslin Center.
Michigan State dominated the Terps by a 91-61 margin when the teams met earlier this season on January 4. The Spartans hold a 7-5 advantage in the all-time series between the two schools.
Entering today, Michigan State is 19-3 overall, 7-2 in the Big Ten and ranked No. 6 in both major polls; Maryland is 15-7 overall, 4-5 in the Big Ten and unranked.
Tipoff for today is slated for 1 p.m. The game will air on CBS, with Kevin Harlan calling the play-by-play and Jim Spanarkel serving as the game’s color analyst.
