The Michigan State Spartans are on the road to face the Ohio State Buckeyes in Big Ten play.
The Spartans, winners of 14-straight games, improved to 15-1 overall and 3-0 in the Big Ten with a 91-61 win over Maryland on Thursday night at the Breslin Center. With a win today, Michigan State will remain ranked No. 1 in the country in both the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches Top 25 polls. The Spartans have an all-time record of 15-5 in games played while ranked No. 1.
Michigan State leads the all-time series with Ohio State, 73-58, and eight of the last 14 games have been decided by five points or less. Spartans head coach Tom Izzo is 28-15 in his career against the Buckeyes.
The game will be shown live on CBS at 4:30 pm EST, with Andrew Catalon calling the play-by-play and Bill Raftery serving as the color analyst.
