MSU is adding a huge leg to its 2019 class.
On Thursday night, Evan Morris of Ovid-Elsie announced his commitment to Michigan State. The reviews on him per Kohl’s Kicking Camps rave about him, saying he has “shown to consistently have the strongest leg in the country on kickoffs.”
Morris is also said to have 4.5 hang time on his kickoffs and can bang roll-out punts 50-60 yards. You can read his full write-up on Kohl’s website here.

The strongest kickoff leg and top roll-out punter in the Class of 2019 for #KohlsKicking, Evan Morris, has committed to Michigan State.

There could be competition in his first year as the current MSU kickoff specialist — Cole Hahn — is just a redshirt freshman. MSU also has a stable of four punters on the depth chart that are either true freshmen or redshirt freshmen.
However, if his leg is as big as it seems on video, he can make a serious push for time right off the bat.
