The Michigan State Spartans return to the hardwood on Friday night, as the Oakland Golden Grizzlies travel to East Lansing. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network.
The Spartans enter the contest at 9-2 after soundly defeating the Green Bay Phoenix by 21 points. Meanwhile, Oakland is off to a rough 4-8 start, and has lost its last three games. The Golden Grizzlies were defeated by Georgia the last time out.
Michigan State is 15-0 all-time against Oakland, however OU has played MSU tough the past several seasons, and even took the Spartans to overtime in the 2015-2016 season meeting. Other close contests include the 2010-2011 campaign, where MSU won by a single point, and in 2013-2014 when the Spartans squeaked out a four-point victory. Last year, Michigan State won by 13.
