There was nothing normal about this Selection Sunday for Michigan State Spartans – from having to wait a week with no basketball, to waiting for CBS to actually release the brackets, to worrying about their Q1 wins. But the moment finally came, and the Spartans know how they will start the NCAA Tournament.

Michigan State was given the 3 seed in the Midwest region. They will play Bucknell on Friday in Detroit.

The Spartans were bumped off of the 2 line by Cincinnati.
