The Michigan State Spartans begin their NCAA Tournament tonight run against the Bucknell Bison.
The Spartans enter the Big Dance as a No. 3 seed after going 29-4 in the regular season. They went 16-2 in the Big Ten Conference and won the regular-season title. Michigan State is making its 21st-straight NCAA Tournament appearance in 2018. It is the longest current streak among Big Ten schools and third-longest current streak in the nation.
The Spartans are also making their 32nd appearance in the NCAA Tournament with a record of 64-30 (.681) in its previous 31 tournaments.
Bucknell, the No. 14 seed in the region, enters the postseason with a 25-9 overall record and won the Patriot League regular-season and tournament crowns.
The game will be shown live on CBS at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. Tip off is slated for 7:10 pm EST with Ian Eagle calling the play-by-play, Jim Spanarkel as the color analyst and Allie LaForce on sidelines.
