The Michigan State Spartans are back in action today in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The Spartans are the top-seeded team after winning the regular season. They will face the Wisconsin Badgers with a berth in the semifinal round at stake.

Michigan State has won 12-straight games, the longest active win streak in Division I, and finished the regular season with a 28-3 overall record and won the regular season title outright with a 16-2 league mark. Michigan State set a school record with 28 regular season wins and this was the eighth regular season title under Tom Izzo.

Wisconsin is 15-17 overall and posted a 7-11 mark in conference play. They beat Maryland on Thursday to advance to Friday’s action.

The game will be shown live on the Big Ten Network at noon EST, with Brian Anderson calling the play-by-play, Jon Crispin serving as the color analyst and Mike Hall on sidelines.
