The short-lived drama of Jaren Jackson’s NBA decision is over.

The freshman phenom declared for the NBA Draft on Monday, dropping this note to Spartan Nation.

While he didn’t state it in his letter, it has been reported by multiple sources he will hire an agent. Jackson is projected to be a top five pick in numerous NBA mock draft pieces.

As he stated in the letter, Jackson made his lone year at MSU count by winning Big Ten Freshman of the Year and Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year. Along with his program-record 106 blocks, Jackson also added 10.9 point and 5.8 rebounds per game.

Jackson also joins Miles Bridges in NBA-bound players who have hired an agent. Nick Ward also declared for the NBA Draft, but has not hired an agent.
