It’s game day! And here is your game thread, as the Ohio State Buckeyes travel to East Lansing to take on the No. 11 Michigan State Spartans. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. at the Breslin Center, and will be broadcast on CBS.
MSU has found its winning ways again, with two impressive wins in a row over Minnesota and Wisconsin. This follows a horrendous stretch for the Spartans, where the team lost three games in a row. The team currently sits at 20-5 overall and 11-3 in the conference. A win today ties Michigan for first place in the Big Ten.
Ohio State has won three of its past four games, but lost to Illinois last time out. The Buckeyes are 16-8 this season, but have struggled in Big Ten play at just 6-7.
Michigan State and Ohio State have met once already this season. Down by seven at halftime, the Spartans dominated the second half and ended up winning by a final score of 86-77. It was an impressive win in Columbus, without Joshua Langford (whose injury was not considered serious at the time).
