How far does MSU go? Semifinals loss vs. Wisconsin

Championship game prediction? Michigan over Wisconsin, and thousands of UM fans trying their hardest to convince us a hot weekend in a three-game tournament is better than winning a regular season title that spans four months and 20 games.

Boldest prediction you have for MSU? Gabe Brown and Foster Loyer combine for 15 points against Indiana. No, I’m drinking right now.

Boldest prediction you have for the rest of the tournament? Penn State beats Purdue as Carson Edwards shoots 5/46 from the field, playing ultra-aggressive to make up for not winning Big Ten Player of the Year.

How far does MSU go? MSU makes it to Sunday.

Championship game prediction? Purdue over MSU

Boldest prediction you have for MSU? Two Spartans make the all-tournament team: Cassius Winston and Xavier Tillman.

Boldest prediction you have for the rest of the tournament? Rutgers will play on Friday and Iowa will play on Saturday.

How far does MSU go? MSU will go as far as Cassius Winston’s knees and Izzo’s interest to rest them will take them.

Championship game prediction? The two teams that beat the other teams to get there. The one that scores the most points wins in the final game.

Boldest prediction you have for MSU? Waffle Guy is removed from the arena after passing out from extreme vocal distress.

Boldest prediction you have for the rest of the tournament? Tim Miles doesn’t make it back to Lincoln with a job, but has a really pleasant time carpooling with a lovely couple and/or us. We will drive you, Tim.

Championship game prediction? Michigan State over Purdue

Boldest prediction you have for MSU? Aaron Henry will average over 10 points through the tournament.

Boldest prediction you have for the rest of the tournament? Illinois beats Michigan, Ohio State smokes Indiana.

How far does MSU go? MSU wins the whole thing.

Championship game prediction? MSU over Purdue

Boldest prediction you have for MSU? Nick Ward scores double figures each game/MSU has 6 players in double figures in beating IU (with Ward off the bench).

Boldest prediction you have for the rest of the tournament? Illinois loses to Purdue in the semifinal (after beating Michigan) on a bailout call giving Carson Edwards free throws at the end of the game to win it for Purdue.

How far does MSU go? Semifinals

Championship game prediction? Maryland over Illinois

Boldest prediction you have for MSU? Xavier Tillman leads the Spartans in scoring.

Boldest prediction you have for the rest of the tournament? Illinois and Penn State play in the semifinals.

How far does MSU go? I think it depends on how the prior games shake out. If Indiana wins, I have a feeling MSU isn’t going too far in the conference tournament. Indiana has been Tom Izzo’s kryptonite this year, and if the Hoosiers beat Ohio State on Thursday -- which isn’t as easy of a task now that the Buckeyes will have Kaleb Wesson back -- then I can see MSU losing its first Big Ten Tournament game. With that said, if Ohio State advances, I think MSU wins that one and actually runs the table for the remainder of the tournament.

Championship game prediction? Purdue over Indiana

Boldest prediction you have for MSU? Kenny Goins gets double digit rebounds in every game he plays.

Boldest prediction you have for the rest of the tournament? Indiana makes a run to the final, but loses to Purdue. Iowa beats Michigan on Friday.

How far does MSU go? I will say MSU makes it to the finals and falls to Purdue, mostly because they don’t want to grind Cassius Winston to pulp in what amounts to a pretty meaningless game overall for the Spartans.

Championship game prediction? Purdue over MSU

Boldest prediction you have for MSU? Boldest prediction I have is just to say that I think there is just as good a chance MSU loses on Friday than there is that they win the whole thing. I am just not sure what their motivation level is at for this and OSU with Wesson and of course Indiana are not easy matchups for them.

Boldest prediction you have for the rest of the tournament? I think Indiana or Penn State makes a mini-run in the tournament and get themselves into the semi finals. Of course this would require either MSU or Purdue to go down early, and I have them both in the finals so there is a bit of hedging my bets here, but really I think those are the two most dangerous lower seeded teams.
