Still need more good MSU basketball news?

Well, here’s something that’ll impact the green and white’s future in a big way — 2020 4-star point guard Jalen Terry committed to the Spartans on Tuesday night.

The 5-foot-10 Flint Beecher product comes in as the No. 1-ranked recruit in Michigan per 247Sports. And while the 247Sports Composite (a combination of various recruiting services) has him ranked as the No. 102 recruit in the country, he’s slated much higher on other sites. Rivals has Terry tabbed as the No. 45 recruit in the country, and 247Sports has him coming in at No. 31.

The announcement makes Terry MSU’s first recruit for the 2020 class, and another big target for the Spartans (5-star power forward Isaiah Jackson) is AAU teammates with Terry. With Rocket Watts also verbally committed for the 2019 class, the future of MSU’s backcourt is looking bright.

So, how’s that for a start to the Final Four week?
