MSU landed one of the biggest names on the transfer market as former Marquette forward Joey Hauser announced he’s EL-bound.

Joey’s older brother, Sam, will be heading to Virginia as the duo officially splits up. Nothing is official yet, but odds are Joey will have to sit out a season before playing for the green and white.
Joey is also certainly no stranger to East Lansing as he took a handful of visits during his recruitment in high school.
Joey, who started 31 of Marquette’s 34 games last season, had a solid freshman campaign with 9.7 points per game on 42.5 percent 3-point shooting. He also averaged 5.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists.
In other good news, MSU went to another Final Four this season. And won two Big Ten championships. And own the state. And have Cassius Winston coming back. Oh man, life is so great right now for the green and white.
