Alright this is going to start really sad but I swear it’ll get better.
One month ago today MSU ended its hoops season at the hands of a street fighting team Texas Tech.
The hours and even days after that game saw just about every emotion from the MSU faithful. Pride in what the team accomplished. Pain in knowing they could have achieved more and possibly should have been in that title game.
People were swinging between screaming for the Final Four banner to already be raised at Breslin Center and having to be talked off a metaphorical ledge.
So, one month after the season, where do we stand?
On one hand, another Final Four ended in, well, the Final Four. On the other (happier) hand, MSU won two conference titles, reached a Final Four by beating Duke and had three comeback wins against Michigan-Ann Arbor. Oh, and the Big Ten Player of the Year. Again.
