How about this for big offseason news?

MSU landed the commitment of 4-star Mady Sissoko on Tuesday, beating out finalists Memphis, Kansas and BYU for the 6-foot-9 center’s services.

Sissoko will be coming in as the No. 36-ranked prospect per 247Sports, also ranking as the No. 7 center in the nation.

Sissoko has been to East Lansing a few times, most recently over the weekend on an official visit to catch the family atmosphere of the program one last time before announcing his commitment.

This puts MSU in great standing for the 2020 class so far as Sissoko joins explosive 4-star point guard Jalen Terry. MSU will have at least one more scholarship spot to fill for the 2020 class, and this is a great way to build on that group.
