In the midst of a 7-game win streak and a 4-0 Big Ten start, MSU is taking the elevator straight up the polls.
Your Spartans come into this week’s AP Poll at No. 8, moving up six spots from 14. The USA Today Coaches Poll also has MSU at No. 8, launching up eight spots from 16.

Is that the end of MSU’s accolades after a beating against Illinois and a steamrolling against UM-Ann Arbor? HA, HEAVENS NO!
Cassius Winston — senior point guard for MSU, you might have heard of him — averaged 26.5 points per game (32 points against UM-Ann Arbor, in case you forgot) and 7.5 assists over the week. Oh, and he’s the first player ever in the Big Ten to notch 1,600 points and 800 assists. What does that get him?
Big Ten Player of the Week honors for the sixth time in his career.
Naismith Player of the Week, like there was ever a doubt.
Final Four Player of the Week.
Owner of UM-Ann Arbor basketball.
Alright, one of those was made up. It’s up to you to figure it out.
