Michigan State holds the strong advantage in the all-time series between the two programs, with an 8-3 record overall against Rutgers. The Spartans have won six-straight games against the Scarlet Knights, and have not lost to Rutgers since the New Jersey school joined the Big Ten in 2014. The last Rutgers victory over MSU came in 2004, by a score of 19-14.
Mel Tucker will finally get to coach his first game as head coach of Michigan State in a little less than two weeks. Meanwhile, Greg Schiano begins his second tenure in Piscataway and looks to turn around a program that has been down and out for quite a while.
As of current time, this is the only announced kickoff time on MSU’s 2020, Big Ten Conference-only, schedule. We will keep you updated as we learn more about kickoff times.
