Game Thread: Rutgers At Michigan State, First Half

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights (0-0) are in East Lansing to play our Michigan State Spartans (0-0) to kick off this strange, unique season. After a 302-day drought, a coaching change, scrapping of a non-conference schedule, and temporary cancellation of the fall season, we finally are kicking it off today.

The Mel Tucker era truly starts today at Michigan State as he beings his tenure as the 25th head coach at Michigan State, and returns to the sideline in East Lansing for the first time since 1998 when he was a graduate assistant. On the line is a 21-straight wins streak in home openers for Michigan State dating back to a 1999 victory over Oregon.

It’s a BE-AUTIFUL day for football! Go Green!
