The 67th meeting of the Michigan State Spartans and Indiana Hoosiers next Saturday, Nov. 14 will kickoff at noon eastern time at Spartan Stadium. The game will air on either ABC or ESPN2. It will be the second straight visit to East Lansing for the Hoosiers as they played in East Lansing last season as well.

Indiana and Michigan State are both coming off big wins over the weekend. Indiana in the form of a 16-point victory over Rutgers to move to 2-0, and MSU with an upset win over in-state rival Michigan. Indiana will host Michigan this weekend, while MSU travels to Iowa.

The Spartans have a huge lead in this trophy game at 48-16-2. The Old Brass Spittoon trophy has been held by MSU since winning it back in 2017. Michigan State managed a series record eight-straight wins from 1950-1957, whereas Indiana has only managed three-straight wins from 1967-1969. Since 2000, Indiana has won just three times out of 17 games coming in 2001, 2006, and 2016. The Hoosiers are a dangerous team this year, with an opening overtime win against Penn Sate and a road win at Rutgers in week two. The Hoosiers are currently tied with Ohio State for first place in the Big Ten’s East Division.
