Well this is an interesting scheduling twist to the 2020 schedule, a Christmas Day matinee game against the Wisconsin Badgers. Or rather, the “Flopsconsin Badgers” as I like to call them during the Brad Davison era in particular.
Today’s game marks the 149th all-time meeting between the programs. MSU leads the series 83-65 and has won eight of the last nine games. The home team has won 22 of the last 26 games in this series as well (when played on campus) with all of the exception being MSU wins in Madison in 2012, 2013, 2018, and 2019.
