Following back-to-back losses in Big Ten action last week, the Michigan State Spartans have dropped to No. 17 in the AP and No. 18 in the USA Today Coaches Polls this week.
A stunning nine Big Ten teams are ranked in the AP top-25 this week, including tonight’s opponent, Minnesota. Indiana also received votes in the AP for the week.
Meanwhile the Coaches Poll also ranks nine Big Ten teams in the top-25, but Purdue is receiving votes rather than Indiana. Minnesota is lower in the Coaches Poll than the AP, but ranked in both this week.
