The Michigan State Spartans were slated to take on the Virginia Cavaliers Wednesday night at 9:15 p.m. EST in Charlotesville, Virginia, but late Tuesday night it was reported that VIrginia has a COVID-19 issue. As a result the game has been postponed.

There is no official word yet on when the game will be rescheduled. The Spartans next play Oakland on Sunday, Dec. 13 in East Lansing and has a full week until the next game at Northwestern on Sunday, Dec. 20.
The Michigan State women’s team is still slated to take on Minnesota tomorrow night at 9 p.m. EST and the game will air on the Big Ten Network.
The men’s game against Virgina is part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The Big Ten took a commanding 6-1 lead in the Challenge in Tuesday’s action. The conference should easily end up moving to 7-12-3 in the series all-time after Wednesday’s games.
