How’s that for a start to the week?

On Monday, three-star cornerback prospect Antoine Booth tweeted out his commitment to MSU, making him the sixth commit in Mel Tucker’s inaugural class.

The product from the Baltimore powerhouse DeMatha Catholic also held offers from programs close to home like Maryland, Rutgers and Virginia.

Booth sits as the No. 26-ranked recruit for the state of Maryland and the No. 78-ranked cornerback prospect in the nation per 247Sports composite.

Booth’s commitment makes him the second defensive back commitment in Tucker’s first class, joining 6-foot-4 Florida safety Gabe Nealy.
