I know, I know. We’re over simulation season and we’re all still salty we missed out on the most exciting sporting event of the year that is the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. That said, the folks at BreakingT are here to try to cheer us up.
The Michigan State Spartans were playing their best basketball at the end of the regular season, and were seemingly the overwhelming pick to win another national championship by various publications. The Spartans were crowned 2020 champion by several simulations, from FiveThirtyEight , to ESPN’s Joe Lunardi, to our very own TOC parallel universe simulation tournament (completely non-bias, of course), to now competing in the final round of SB Nation’s FanPulse tournament.
Of course, Michigan State won’t be hanging any real national championship banners next season, but we can celebrate the fact that the Spartans were most certainly expected to make a deep run, exemplified by all of the success through algorithms and simulations. We need something to look forward these days, and BreakingT’s “Hang The Banner” design can provide some excitement. If it’s not for you, that is completely understandable and just move on. But if you are interested, and you are able to, please support BreakingT and The Only Colors during these uncertain times for businesses (and quite frankly, everybody) by purchasing a shirt.
