The Izzo Legacy Family Fund, the charity organization started by Tom and Lupe Izzo had announced the original date for the second Annual Izzo Legacy 5K Run/Walk/Roll event would be the morning of the Michigan State’s spring game. However, the novel coronavirus pandemic has since intervened. The 5K has been rescheduled for September 12th, and a food drive was initially scheduled for April 18th in place of the 5K. Further precautions have necessitated that the food drive be cancelled, and instead it is now a community day of giving.

The Izzo Legacy Family Fund is encouraging the community to support its deserving charity partners that are helping meet the needs of our community during this difficult time. Direct donations can be made to charity partners at www.izzorace.com/donate or www.IzzoLegacy.com.

Per their release:

Since its inception, the mission of the Izzo Legacy has been to unify the community around a common cause and for the purpose of charitable giving. This spirit remains strong and unity is more important than ever!
