Gravely — a 6-foot-1 safety — adds himself to an already impressive defensive back group in the 2021 class. The three-star Ohio product also joins four-star cornerback Charles Brantley, three-star safety Gabe Nealy and three-star cornerback Antoine Booth for Mel Tucker’s first class.
Gravely is listed in the 247Sports Composite as the No. 74-ranked safety prospect and the No. 39-ranked overall prospect in the state of Ohio. In total, Gravely is tabbed as the No. 962-ranked overall recruit in the country.
Gravely has been on Tucker’s radar before he arrived in East Lansing in early February as he extended the Cleveland native an offer when he was still the head coach at Colorado. Gravely also held offers from West Virginia, Pitt, Cincinnati and Wake Forest, amongst others.
Tucker’s inaugural class now sits at No. 21 in the country per 247Sports rankings.
