The Michigan State Spartans women’s basketball team has now had its fourth game of the conference season postponed as it was announced late this afternoon their game against Indiana in East Lansing scheduled for this Thursday at 6 p.m. EST has been postponed due to COVID-19 issues among the MSU program.
The Spartans game against Ohio State on Dec. 30 was postponed due to a pause by Ohio State’s program and the previous two games for MSU had also been postponed due to issues among the MSU program. The next game on the schedule as it stands now will be at Wisconsin this Sunday, Jan. 24 with the time still to be announced.

The athletic department issued the following press release announcing the decision:
EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State’s women’s basketball game in East Lansing against Indiana on Thursday, Jan. 21 has been postponed following COVID-19 related issues within the Spartan program. No decision has been made on games beyond Jan. 21.
The decision was mutually agreed upon out of an abundance of caution surrounding the health and safety of the participants, and the institutions will work with the Big Ten Conference to identify rescheduling options.
