After an extended pause due to COVID-19 concerns, the Michigan State Spartan Women are back on the hardwood this Sunday in Madison to take on the Wisconsin Badgers. The MSU women’s basketball team’s Twitter account announced the return to action earlier today. The game is scheduled to tip at 4 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network.

The return to action comes after three games in a row were postponed by the Spartans due to COVID-19 issues. The Spartans began their pause last week prior to the scheduled game at Illinois. Then the game scheduled for this past Monday at Michigan was postponed, before the game in East Lansing scheduled for today against Indiana was also postponed.
MSU will look to right the ship entering this matchup at Wisconsin as the team is riding a two-game losing streak after starting the season 8-0 overall and 3-0 in the Big Ten. The Spartans dropped two straight home games, first to No. 15 Maryland then to the unranked Nebraska Cornhuskers.
