The No. 6 Michigan Wolverines are in town to take on the No. 7/8 Michigan State Spartans in East Lansing today for the first time since 2018. The teams are meeting for the Paul Bunyan Paul Bunyan – Governor of Michigan Trophy. Today marks the first time in the rivalry’s history that both teams enter the matchup at 7-0. It is also the first time since 1964 that both teams are ranked inside the top-10. Can Mel Tucker also become the first coach in Spartan history to hold a 2-0 record over the Wolverines and lead the Spartans to the first 8-0 start since 2015?
