Saturday was a day full of emotions for the Michigan State Spartans. MSU improved to 8-0 on the season, and 5-0 in Big Ten Conference play, following a victory over the archival Michigan Wolverines. The Spartans were down 16 points in the second half, but as head coach Mel Tucker said, the team “never flinched.” Running back Kenneth Walker III powered Michigan State with 197 rushing yards and five touchdowns.
