ROLL OUT THE TANKS IN EAST LANSING, BABY.
An impressive offseason in the transfer portal for Mel Tucker and Co. just got another notch in its belt on Tuesday morning.
Minnesota transfer, and former four-star recruit out of the 2020 class, Itayvion “Tank” Brown announced his commitment to the Michigan State Spartans, giving the Spartans new commits in back-to-back days.

In high school, the 6-foot-4 prospect also put in some serious time in at wide receiver and shows athleticism all over the field. He had a nice offer sheet you could expect from a four-star kid that included offers from the likes of Florida State, Texas A&M, LSU and others.
Brown didn’t get into any game action last year as he redshirted, but that didn’t stop him from hearing from a slew of suitors. In the end, it will be Brown coming to a linebackers room in East Lansing that needs the help after Antjuan Simmons heads to the NFL Draft.
This is the fourth linebacker/edge guy Tucker has landed this transfer season, joining Duke transfer Drew Jordan, Michigan’s Ben VanSumeran and preferred walk-on linebacker Samih Beydoun.
