Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NCAA. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged in Michigan State Spartan fans, and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.

National Voting Results

The new era of Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) is upon college athletics. That was the primary focus of these national results in the most recent round of voting. Though, having said that, there is one other question at the national level asking fans about the 2021 College Football Playoff team predictions. What better timing, too, with the season just under two months away from the opening kickoffs.

That question regarding the CFP was in fact the first one up. How did national fans vote on the conferences most likely to see at least one team make the CFP field?

The full results were as follows:

  1. SEC - 97%
  2. Big Ten - 94%
  3. ACC - 88%
  4. Big 12 - 78%
  5. Pac-12 - 25%
  6. Independent - 10%
  7. AAC - 4%
  8. Mountain West - 1.4%
  9. MAC - 1.3%
  10. Sun Belt - 1%
  11. C-USA - 0.9%

With the College Football Playoff predictions out of the way, it is time to get into the thick of NIL. These are all simple yes or no questions, so I am going to leave it to the SB Nation provided graphics to give you the prompts and answers.

What about yourselves? Do you buy State Farm insurance coverage because of Aaron Rodger’s silly touchdown celebration motion? Are you more likely to purchase it if the next starting MSU quarterback inks a deal with some of the State Farm agents around the state of Michigan? If Max Christie does? Should any of these athletes have limits placed on how much they can earn on NIL deals? Let us know in the comments!
