The Michigan State Spartans take on the No. 24 Miami Hurricanes today in Miami Gardens, Florida. The game marks the first meeting between the two teams since before I was born (though I was just a few months away). It also marks the first regular season non-conference road matchup for Michigan State since a trip to face Arizona State in Tempe, Arizona on Sept. 8, 2018. The visit marks the first trip to the state of Florida by the Spartans since the Outback Bowl against Georgia on Jan. 2, 2012.
