Open Thread: Conference Realignment

I want to start off by saying this post goes out to TOC reader of the week, Sgostate1.

Okay, I made that up. There is no such thing as reader of the week. But if you guys ask for open threads, I will put them up (probably). So here you go, Sgostate1. I am guessing you have a lot to say on the recent wave of realignment.
